Today was a fartlek session and I had to do 4 1km loops.....but on hearing that those of us racing on saturday we could do 3! Woo Hoo! That suited me as I am still not feeling back to my usual self yet. The session actually went really well and I was not feeling as tired as I thought. I planned to put in a hard effort but not 100%. The first lap I could really feel last nights leg work out but then it faded away. I fished the 3km in 14:25 and averaged 4:50/km. Ray did the 4 laps and had his first nipple chaffing..... makes me so proud :-) He averaged just under 4:30/km and looked pretty cruisy. The girls even got a flash of his hairy belly.... hehe nothing is sacred!! I might book him a day at the waxer!
I got the violin last night.... very exciting! Ray looks lovely in his ear muffs, although I thought a bit over the top that he kept them on through dinner ;-)

yay! Can't wait till our first Sweat recital! i've been known to belt a few out on the recorder... of course that was in year 5 and i did it by memory - but i am sure that i a natural...
