Recovery Week
This week so far has included a nice slow recovery run on Monday, rest on Tuesday and some 600m reps on Wednesday. I felt pretty good on Wednesday and put in 7 good reps at Centenial Park. I managed to hover around 2:35 per lap. I really enjoy the challenge of the track work.... really great training for races when you really want to stop. Today I am heading off to the gym... rest day from running. I am also heading to the physiotherapist... I have sore heels which have not been hurting when I walk or run, but during the day I have had tingling in my heel area. I am a bit paranoid follwoing my ITB problems so I want to nip any little niggles in the bud before they become a problem. Hopefully a few days rest will sort it all out :) So fingers crossed!!!
