A water run and an uppercut!

Well I finally got up the courage to get in the water.... and after all that build up it was fine. Told you, a complete wus! Sean said to follow my program so that what It ried to do. I put the belt on and got in and felt like a complete idiot! I did 15mins warm up running and then I had 2x 2km reps and 1 x 1600m reps on the program. So I did 2x 8:30mins and 1x 7min hard running. It was a bit akward and took a bit of concentrating but all up not too bad. I managed to last 45mins, which was better than I thought. I am sure the swim squad kids tough I was a strange one, but who cares. I have to say running was not meant for the water!!! I can not wait to get back on the land! Now I am off to boxing... now that is more fun!

I think I ran one lap once in the water. I prefer getting out in the surf to swim.

The technique of water running is not easy! A great workout though.

Good on ya Kit. Water running can be sooooo boring (when I am able to get back into it I might have to find a waterproof mp3 player). It also looks funny to the outsider, seeing a little head moving along in the pool.

Hope the leg is improving.

I'm sure you looked a vision of a mermaid in the water.

Water running might be boring but it is good for recovery Kit. Keep at it and you will be back running again on land soon enough.
