Mission accomplished!

Just a really quick update.... I will bog my race report later! I am very happy to report that I did it!!!! I finished the Canberra Marathon in 3:48:23!!!! I had set my ultimate goal at sub 4hrs, my I will be happy goal at 3:55, qrote splits out for 3:52 and finished in 3:48:23! I had such a great day and managed to smile almost the whole way :-) I will take my time to process it all and post a longer post soon!

WOO HOO!!!!!

Go you marathon runner. Congratulations on completing the journey to do your first marathon. Look forward to the report on how the day went. Sensational time and you were worried about not cracking 4hrs. Very happy for you.And qualified for Six Foot. Yee hah.

Woooooooblooodyhooooo you done Team J proud - well done Kit that is one of the most just results I've seen in a long time - you really put the work in and it paid off. FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Oh and I do note it is a Six Foot qualifier too (can't wait to see Ray's blog entries as you prepare for that one) ;-)

Fantastic debut Kit but no real surprises there. After your great preparation, I thought you were on track for a sub 3:50 and you accomplished that feat. Sit back and soak it in. You are now a MARATHONER! Well done Champ!

Great race Kit and great to see you. The excitement was just too much for me and I need to do it again. I can't believe it is all over.....

Amazing results and very well deserved. Time now to relax, enjoy and put your feet up for a few days.
