A shorter long one

Today: 13km
Week:29km
Month: 358km
Year: 1018km

We met this morning and did out shorter version of our midweek long run. We did a nice relaxed 13km around Centenial Park. Thank goodness for David who loaned me $10 to put some peterol in the car after driving on empty and forgeting my wallet at home....life saver! It rained quite heavily towards the end of the run, so I was happy to dry off and get back in the car and warm up. I will do an easy run tommorow and Friday and the a lovely rest day on Saturday. This week the kms have dropped to 60km which feels like a breeze compared to the 95km I was getting used to. I am amazingly not feeling nervous at the moment.... doesn't feel like it is only 10 days away. I think on Sunday when I realise it is only a week to go I might get nervous..... at the moment just looking forward to it.

Time: 69min
Distance: 13km
Average pace: 5:20/km

A rest day on Saturday, you lucky duck.
Which David? Sounds like a good guy to know all cashed up and doing low-doc loans.

You'll only get nervous at the starting line when the portaloos are all occupied.

LOL I did that on Monday night - I had to scrape all my 5c and 10c pieces out of the console to put a couple of dollars in to get me home ;-)

You've trained so well you have nothing to be nervous about, but lots of reasons to be excited.
