400's
Well this morning we did a nice easy warm up, drills and the 7 x 400 sprints with about a 50sec recovery. This is a hard session for me! My heart rate soars and the legs usually start to burn at about the 5th one (especially after the Gym last night ). I was pretty consistant... my best was 1:37 and my worst 1:40, but most of them were 1:39. This was better than my session a few weeks ago- about 4-5 secs per lap better. I also was able to stay relaxed and didn't have that overwhelming urge to stop. Now I will be able to relax for the rest of the week... just a few plods and then run the half on Sunday... Yeah!

Hi Kit - what do you do your 400's on? A track? Do you think they are much different from doing 500's? I can find 500m markers galore but can't find a 400m track that's handy.
