Due to committments I could not fit the Cherrybrook run int his morning so we met at Queens Park and did the coastal run. We ran through Centenial Park, Ocean rd, along old south head rd, then onto the city to surf cours down to Bondi and then along the coastal path all the way along turning back at maroubra rd, then back through Randwick to Queens park. We bumped into Ellie coming into the park as we were heading out :-) It was a spectacular run.... blue skies but a big storm on the horizan. Lots of hills and steps but the view more than compensates. I started feeling really heavy in the legs but after about 3km I felt great. It felt so nice to be doing 23km this mornig and we all finished with lots of energy left..... although the legs were feeling quite tired from yesterdays efforts and this mornings hills and were happy to stop. We finished off with some home made banana and date cake that Allison baked yesterday....YUM!!!! So two weeks to go.... next week the total kms drop another 18kms and we only have an hour easy run on Sunday. Haha it will be the first sunday in a while that I won't be a complete Zombie :-)

Wow that is a great way to back up yesterdays PB.
Fantastic work Kit ;-)
See you Tuesday if I can find the alarm clock.
I haven't had to get out of bed early for weeks. A zombie-free lifestyle.
I agree - I have a 16km easy run next Sunday, it will be so nice.
This week I have 3 x 10km runs and an 8k easy run on Saturday.
Looking good Kit. That run was testing but you did it in a nice pace. Well done on Saturday by the way. A PB with all those Ks in your legs is a great effort !
