" I'm Melting, I'm Melting...." , well I was concerned enough about the risk that I bailed on the planned 5:30am run with Ali this morning **Sorry**. I just could not face the cold and the rain at that time of the morning... so Jen there is another nomination for the blowse :-) I had an 1hr10min run on the prgram but could only manage 1hr on the treadmill before I started to loose the plot! I have no idea how people run on the treadmill regularly! Apart from the mind numbing scenary I was really happy with this run. I felt a little stiff in the lower back to begin with but once I warmed up I felt great. I maintined about 5:20 pace for most of the run with a few minutes at 4:40 pace here and there to break up the run a little. Just like yesterday, the run felt really comfortable and not a struggle at all- very happy!!!

On a sour not..... our hot water system had a hissy fit last night. So Ray and I changed the fuse and then turned it back on only to have the fuse explode like a fire cracker! Now anyone who knows us will be aware of our sever limitations when it comes to anything practical and housey. So I took a day off and hung around for the hot water guy who called at 4:30pm to say.... ooops we overbooked and can not come today! Due to a funeral we have to attend we now can not have it fixed until thursday! So I wasted a day off, cancelled a massage for nothing. So I will have to use the showers at work and the gym.... boo hoo! Well, I could have a cold shower, but some how I don't think so!
