Happy Birthday to you...

Today: 10km
Week: 10km
Month: 112km
Year: 1333km

I love a public holiday... so happy Birthday to the Queen! I had a lovely monday off spent with my Mum, Sister, brother in law and my lovely neice Alex. She is almost 7 months old and is sooo cute and has an enormous set of lungs!! I opted for a sleep in this morning and had planed to go for a run at about 11am~ but housework got in the way, then lunch so I finally got out of the house when we got home at about 5pm. It was a great run..... really cold and clear and the moon was MASSIVE!!! I cruised along listening to the i-pod and felt great. No niggles at all and I felt nice and relaxed. I am back to enjoying my runs again instead of worrying about whether my pelvis is going to start to hurt..... gotta love that!!!

Distance: 10km
Time: 54min
Average Pace: 5:25/km

Don't you just lurve public holidays!

I understand that feeling Kit - where you get to a point when you forget about the injury/problem & can just run again. It makes all those hard times when injured worth it!

That's great news Kit - not about the Queen's Bday , just that you're enjoying your runs.

No niggles at all - that's fantastic Kit. You've come good at the right time.

Can't wait to catch up at the GC. Have you thought about a goal yet?

Without the niggles, you're right: It's great just to enjoy the run again, maybe why I started in the first place.
