Spinning around...

I felt great in the legs this morning after yesterdays efforts. I thought they might feel a bit sore, but a night in the skins and they felt pretty good. My program had me down for 30 mins very easy, but I decided to head to the gym and do a spin class. I tried this last week on Monday and it seemed to reallyget the blood flowing through the legs, used different muscles and felt great. It was also a brilliant workout to get the heart rate up. There were some serious endorphins flowing after this session. It was a great work out for the glutes... I could really feel myself using them when we had to stand for the "mountain climb". I think I will keep this as my monday recovery. Threw in some abs and upper body for good measure. Now I take my hat off to all the bike riders out there.... 45mins and my butt was ever so thankful to get off that little uncomfortable racing seat (obviously made by a male!!!).

Well done Kit. Have you ever heard of the word "recovery"?

I know what you mean about those seats. Not the most comfortable things in the world are they? I have taken to wearing my bike pants now after noticing the instructor wore them.

Now I know one of your secrets - instead of an easy recovery run you do a hard spin class!
