An hour around the park

Today: 11km
Week: 51.7km
Month: 221km
Year: 221km

I met Deanne this morning at Centenial Park and we did a nice relaxed hour run. We did the outside loop of the park plus an extra loop around Queens park. We covered 11km in the hour. This run felt very relaxed and easy this morning. The sun was out and I sweated buckloads again.... I have no idea where it all comes from. I like a mobile sprinkler! I worked out it must have been the dead lifts at the gym which gave my hammies a workout... still some of that lactic feeling this morning. Over all still feeling realy good andniggle free... touch wood! Gnome asked how I fit allthe training in... easy early mornings, no kids and a messy house ;-)

Time: 60mins
Distance: 11km
Average pace: 5:28min/km

Mobile sprinkler. I like that. A good friend of mine, unfortunately back in the States now, is 6'3" or so and 90+ kg. Fit, but big. Running with him in summer is a hazard. Being behind him is like being behind a semi-trailer in a rain storm. You literally have a spray coming off him. And squelch, squelch, squelch of his shoes. As you can magine, he finds it hard to stay hydrated.

Sounds like everything is going really well and you're working so hard. My top tip is: I don't have a messy house because I make Mr lulu do the housework :)

Now we know why Mr Lulu doesn't get to training - the housework.

Another good run. It was warm out at the park this morning.

At least sweating makes you feel like you worked really really hard. I know a couple of girls who don't sweat a drop when they run. I'd feel sorry for them except for the fact that afterwards their hair is still perfect :-)

Maybe you could get concessions on your water restrictions since you do such a great job of watering the park ;-)

Another great run Kit - you are on fire (despite your built in reticulation system) - good one mate :-)
