A running free weekend.

Yesterday I headed to the gym and did 'a long run' on the spin bike. It was basically two spin classes back to back, which amounted to a 90min tough work out. I can recommend toanyone if you are not able to run and you get the thumbs up to ride, spin is the next best thing. This is my first running free weekend in a while so I avoided the urge to go to Scarborough park to watch all the sweat troop and striders race the novice cross country. Instead we went into the city and had a hot chocolate at the Lindt cafe and then walked through the Domain and right around through the botanical Gardens to the opera house. It was a perfect afternoona nd the hot choc was to die for!!! This morning Pillates is on the agenda followed by a nice lunch with the awesome foursome.... not the rowers just us marathon girls :-) A bit of a celebratory lunch.... and maby some running talk, so not totally running free ;-)

It sounds like you are making the best of your running mini break. One spin class was torture so I can't imagine what two back to back would be like - madness!!!!

I must get to the Lindt cafe one of these days.

Have a great day.

Good choice. I'd rather hot chocolate and lindt than pain (*violin sounds in background*).

Enjoy having a life again.
