Week:18km
Month: 123km
Year:833km
Well I am still floating on cloud nine and it really feels like someone elses race time! I have pulled up really well. Sunday and Monday my quads were so sore I could barely walk down the stairs but Tuesday I was feeling a lot better. No injuries or niggles... woo hoo! Now I just need to let the body recover. The legs are feeling back to normal today but I am still feeling quite tired. I have had a heap of sleep this week, getting to bed really early and sleeping like a log. I am officially running goaless at the moment and just enjoying getting out there for fun, rather than an big scary goal! I will just do some shorter stuff for a while, 10km in Canberra and the cross country runs. I am undecided about the half marathon.... I am a bit of a cheap skate and with two of us running- Ouch!
Sunday- swim and stretch
Monday- spin
Tuesday- 5km run at Centenial Park, 5:35/km average.
Wednesday- Spin
Thursday- 6km run, relaxed 5:35/km average
Friday- 7km run, relaxed 5:35/km average. Feeling better today, although breathing still quite puffy.

You are recovering nicely by the sounds Katie.
Good idea sticking to the shorter distances, who knows what inroads you can make on your 5k and 10k times. You have well and truly proved yourself on the longer stuff!

Yeah, they made a mistake. It was really 6:15:34 ;)
Might avoid you in Canberra by entering the 5k!
You are incredible Kit. So pleased to hear that you are recovering well.
Best thing about six foot is the eating and sleeping afterwards.
Enjoy it as long as you can.
