We continue to plod on....yesterday Charlie was 11 weeks. She is playing a lot more now and likes to roll around on her play mat. She likes to look at all the things hanging down and has started to reach for them and swing at them. She has also discovered her voice and is squealing and yelling and trying all different noises....very cute. She has been sleeping through the night this past week which has been lovely!!!! I am not sure if it will continue....other mums have said this can happen for a few weeks and then they go back to lots of waking. We can only cross our fingers!
I went out for a run on Tuesday night and felt really tired....but was suprised to see that my average pace was 5:38/km....it felt a lot slower than that! I added a few hills into my run....after the so called flat run at Smithfield felt like it had hills in it :-) I managed almost 8km. Last night I went to the pump class....a bit sore today- all good!
Our pram tires are flat- really flat, so I need Ray to pump them up so I can take Charlie for a few more walks. I tried but the bit to pump them up was in an awkward spot and it was too hard....mind you I had Charlie with me who started to cry and it was all a bit too hard! I think she will like being out and about now that she is more alert and looking around. I am going to take her to Roselands this afternoon to see the baby nurse, but I will walk up there with her in the baby carrier.
I met up with the running mums on Monday...lots of fun and great to see all the bubs together....haha they might run together when they are older ;-)
I have gotten a little more violin practice in this week....so I still stink, but not quite as bad :-)

Hiya Kit/Kiki :))))
Great to hear you are both in good health and spirits. I know what you mean about the runs feeling like they are a looot slower...actually mine are ha ha ha
In answer to your query Billy was born in late Oct and we don't have any aircon so when we got home it was stinking hot....needless to say he pretty much slept in a singlet from 5 days old with just a crochet (???) blanket his nan made him. He still uses the same blanket but now has a sheet as well. In late Nov we had a few coldish days (for summer!) so we put him to sleep in long sleeves...he just doesn't like blankets. He still sleeps in sleeves but now a t-shirt length is fine. When winter comes I am sure he will be back in the longer sleeves. We dont put the bodysuits on him as he has enormous feet and they never fit him properly...he doesn't like socks either so he goes barefoot and everyone comments on his cold tootsies. Soon enough he will be able to wear shoes and I'll get him into the runners :)
I noticed you swaddle Charlie a lot. Does she like that? Must be so cute to wrap her up and scoop her up...does she love to be unwrapped as well? How does she go in the bath?
Billy loves his bath but was not too keen on the pool..that is my next big aim to get him swimming before six months.
