Well the weeks are marching along! I can not believe it is almost half way. It still seems a long way off, but then when I think how quickly the first 20 weeks have gone....it will be here in a blink! I have not really felt any movement except a few flutters and to be honest that may have been wind :-) All the books and other mums are asking me am I feeling the baby yet and I am a feeling a bit disapointed that I am not. I am really looking forward to feeling the moevements...it will feel so rerassuring to feel bub moving around inside. The doctor did tell me that seeing I am a fist time mum and have really strong Abs I may not feel anything until 21 or 22 weeks. I hope he is wrong! We have our scan on Saturday and I can not wait! All the other scans have been in Dr Oppermans office on a tinly little scanner and it is hard to see a lot....so to see bub on a clear machine is very exciting.
I have been feeling really full when I eat....I can not imagine how crowded it must feel towards the end! I have not put on a lot of weight which is good. It is a bit scary when you are used to being so active and then to cut it down so dramatically, I was a little worried I might turn into a house! At the moment I have put on 5kgs and expect a bit of a growth burst over the next few weeks. But I am happy with 5kgs at almost half way.
This week I have been going to the gym and walking and doing some light weights. I have been taking it pretty easy as this cold is still hangin around....I think I sound worse than I feel. I am enjoying the walking....feels more comfortable than running. I think that I must be running differently given my changing shape and it feels a bit weird and unstable. I am not missing the running as such, but I am missing seeing my little group of friends terribly! You take it for granted when you are seeing people 4-5 times a week! I have my graduation peice from level one in violin coming up and so I am doing a lot more practice! That is keeping me out of mischief :-)
I will update the belly pictures next week at the 5 month mark and I might put the fist pics of bub on as well!

Thanks for the update Kit. Good to hear you are doing well and staying fit.
Clairie is feeling a bit like you, she misses us when she can't make it along to Pat's or to our weekend runs. Well, she says she misses us!
Looking forward to the pics :)
Just to let you know I am keeping track of you and enjoying the progress reports. Keep it up, the sense of anticipation will really start building from here on. Ganbatte!
Let me know if you want to go for a walk one morning whilst our respective husbands are SWEATing.
Take care of that cold in the meantime.
C'mon Mum where are the pics. Your lucky I didn't have my camera with me on Sunday!
