I went to physio this afternoon and reported that all felt back to normal, no pain in the leg or behind the knee. He did some more loosening of the spine and hips and put me through my paces and YES I got the thumbs up to run. I did a 1.5km test run and all felt good, so I have the green light to go to training tommorow. I have strict instructions to stay at 70% for the rest of the week and to not go like a bat out of hell! So I am feeling pretty happy and am looking forward to running again. The break was really great... I feel recharged and ready to go. So I need to make sure I do lots of stretching after I run and just keep an eye on how the lower back/hip/pelvis is feeling. He was really pleased at how quickly it resolved itself once back in place. SO a big Yeahay and thankyou to superphsyio Cameron (I am sure the rest also helped a heap!!).
