Slept in on Saturday and then went to the gym and did a spin class and lots of stretching. It is such a nice feeling to do wahtever you want and not worry about gettign that run in! We also saw the movie SCOOP with Woody Allen... very funny and he stole the show. Not a huge plot, but he just cracked me up!
Sunday I dropped Ray at Queens Park for the Strider Star for his long run and then I chatted for a while before trotting into the park to meet Allison for a lovely relaxed run.....lots of catching up and hearing about her new little baby. I got back to the star to get Ray and then a yummy breakfast with the girls (Ray included!)
My birthday is on Wednesday next week so I had a lovely afternoon with my family.... my sister baked me an awesome vegan chocolate cake which was very yummy!!! A few nice presents too :-)

It must be enjoyable having a break from the long runs. Now you've made 6ft, what's beyond?

The cake sounds good, Kit. I hope you had a very happy day.
Happy Birthday for yesterday! I started a vegan cooking class last night and the instructor has a blog for her recipes. Thought you might be interested:

I dont' have an email for you so just thought I would comment on the blog.
Hope you are well and things are going good for both you and Ray. Haven't heard from you for ages but i heard a rumour which would explain why :) Are you running at all at the moment?
Take care and feel free to drop me a line and fill me in on what you are up to.
